Dr. Jeffry Parker, DC
Chiropractor
All too often it's the doctor who gets information about the patient, and the patient receives little information about the doctor and his or her practice. I would like to change that. My name is Jeffry Tyrus Parker, and I was born in Ogden, Utah and raised near Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1981. I have a beautiful, intelligent, passionate wife, an accomplished, caring daughter, a fine son-in- law, and an inquisitive, happy granddaughter and wonderful grandson. My Zen master cat Luna always starts and ends my day on a good note. I am passionate about road cycling, traveling and learning about the world we share. While growing up, I witnessed my mother's desperate search for solutions to unrelenting abdominal pain and a downward spiral of her general health. For years, I watched her go from one medical office to another in search of answers. It was frightening to observe my father's sense of helplessness and my mother's desperation. I remember thinking to myself that my mother was losing her will to live and I, too, felt helpless. The turning point was when my mother had a complete recovery with natural healing through chiropractic and nutrition. Watching my mother's remarkable recovery inspired me to visit my cousin, a chiropractor specializing in natural health care. I was touched by the love and care he showed for his patients and the astounding results he was getting with natural methods. He was a great example of professionalism, service, and love for his fellow man. His office overflowed with patients seeking a way out of their suffering. This inspired me to help others in the same way. I've chosen to devote my life to the healing arts. It engenders in me a desire to give back. I feel an urgent calling to this profession. I am grateful I did so because I have witnessed miracles in my patients' lives. Sick, injured, broken bodies, and spirits have recovered and soared. It is extraordinary to witness these changes. I believe in the principles of alternative healing which are: do no harm; the body heals itself the inside out; the power that made the body heals the body. Every year I seek out additional education to ensure that I am providing the best and most effective treatments for you the patient. I believe, with all my heart, in how I practice and always strive to improve it. I believe, I give an excellent service for a fair fee. We're living in extraordinarily challenging times and our need for strength and vitality in mind, spirit, and body, has never been greater. If you have friends or family members who could benefit from my services, I am here to help. The purpose of the clinic is to effectively support your healing and wellness in a fun, warm, and nurturing environment. What makes this practice unique is our belief that your concerns are our concerns. Your healing is our healing, and this is a journey that we make together. My personal promise to you, is that my team and I, will always listen, strive, and extend ourselves to help you along your path of health. Dr. Jeff Parker |
Nina Bear, RT
Therapeutic Massage Professional
After a nearly fatal car accident left her with agonizing headaches and unrelenting neck and back pain, she knew there had to be a better way to manage her injuries than a prescription for pain meds and a pat on the back from the doctor. As a nature lover, cyclist, skier, and hiker, she couldn’t imagine not being able to enjoy the outdoors again. A coworker gave her the name of a chiropractor that introduced her to the magic of massage therapy combined with spinal adjustments, Pilates, and holistic nutrition. After just a few weeks of treatment, headaches, neck, and back pain were gone. This ignited her passion to study massage and holistic therapies. Graduating from the Center of Advanced Therapeutics in Denver, Colorado, she was invited to start her practice as a therapist in the clinic that had inspired her to study massage and holistic therapies through overcoming her injuries pain-free. Nina supported the clinic with her skills as a neuromuscular and deep tissue therapist. Their patients received compassionate care that resulted in accelerated recovery from health challenges with the combination of chiropractic care and massage therapy. With 24 years of experience working with many other professionals in the industry, she is ready to share her knowledge and healing touch with you. Her expertise includes other modalities such as hot stone, aromatherapy, reflexology, and Reiki. She is nationally certified and has an advanced certification in kinesiology (science of muscle movement). She is presently studying Myoskeletal Alignment techniques with Erik Dalton. Nina customizes each of her massage to meet every client individual needs. Rest assure you will receive effective and relaxing treatments that will leave you feeling rejuvenated! |
