All too often it's the doctor who gets information about the patient, and the patient receives little information about the doctor and his or her practice. I would like to change that.
My name is Jeffry Tyrus Parker and I was born in Ogden, Utah and raised near Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1981. I have a beautiful, intelligent, passionate wife, an accomplished, caring daughter, a fine son-in- law, and an inquisitive, happy granddaughter and wonderful grandson. My Zen master cat Nikita always starts and ends my day on a good note. I am passionate about road cycling, traveling and learning about the world we share. While growing up I witnessed my mother's desperate search for solutions to unrelenting abdominal pain and a downward spiral of her general health. For years, I watched her go from one medical office to another in search of answers. It was frightening to observe my father's sense of helplessness and my mother's desperation. I remember thinking to myself that my mother was losing her will to live and I, too, felt helpless. The turning point was when my mother had a complete recovery with natural healing through chiropractic and nutrition. Watching my mother's remarkable recovery inspired me to visit my cousin, a chiropractor specializing in natural health care. I was touched by the love and caring he showed for his patients and the astounding results he was getting with natural methods. He was a great example of professionalism, service and love for his fellow man. His office overflowed with patients seeking a way out of their suffering. This inspired me to help others in the same way. I've chosen to devote my life to the healing arts. It engenders in me a desire to give back. I feel an urgent calling to this profession. I am grateful I did so because I have witnessed miracles in my patients' lives. Sick, injured, broken bodies and spirits have recovered and soared. It is extraordinary to witness these changes. I believe in the principles of alternative healing which are: do no harm; the body heals itself the inside out; the power that made the body heals the body. Every year I seek out additional education to ensure that I am providing the best and most effective treatments for you the patient. I believe, with all my heart, in how I practice and always strive to improve it. I believe I give an excellent service for a fair fee. We're living in extraordinarily challenging times and our need for strength and vitality in mind, spirit and body, has never been greater. If you have friends or family members who could benefit from my services, I am here to help. The purpose of the clinic is to effectively support your healing and wellness in a fun, warm and nurturing environment. What makes this practice unique is our belief that your concerns are our concerns. Your healing is our healing and this is a journey that we make together. My personal promise to you is that my team and I will always listen, strive and extend ourselves to help you along your path of health. Dr. Jeff Parker |
Dear Patients,
I, Mocha-Mystique Butkovich, am a certified massage therapist. I have had my own practice since 1998. My life mission is to educate, inspire and motivate. I do this through the power of healing touch. I began my studies at The Massage Therapy Institute in Denver, CO. The Massage Therapy Institute program provides 1,000 hours of education. This is double the time most programs demand. My massage certifications include Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Neuromuscular therapies. My combined skills have enabled me to help clients who had a wide range of challenges. I have had excellent results with clients’ health and athletic issues. Essentially, many health issues are performance issues and athletic issues stem from a wellness shortfall. My mission has driven me to succeed with clients from as young as 8 years to as mature as 87 years. I have participated in soccer, volleyball, basketball, track & field, swimming, weight lifting and multiple marathons. I have been fortunate enough to perform competitively at the professional level in soccer. My experience gives me unique insight into the needs of both the weekend warrior and the full time competitor. I understand the limitations facing the novice and the fine tuning needed by the expert athlete. In 2004, I added the Ion Cleanse to my practice. I now introduce my clients to the cleansing power of detoxification. Addressing your toxic load is one of the most important decisions you can make. All systems in the body can be compromised by toxins from the Immune System to the Heart and Circulatory System. Some forms of chronic pain resist even the most sophisticated massage techniques. In my search to add another edge for my client I discovered The Rossiter System of Workouts. If you have chronic pain and have “Been there. Done that.” with little or no relief, The Rossiter System succeeds where others fail. I have had great success with this two party stretching for pain relief. Enjoy a session with me. Experience a massage like no other. Begin a thorough detox with the Ion Cleanse. Leave pain behind and step into a new body with the Rossiter work out. Between you and me we will customize a better you through the Parker Wellness Team. Warm regards, Mocha Butkovich |
